    The main reason is people are getting fed up of spending extra dough in all of there games. Its fine (in a customers head) to make a one off tiny payment for something they enjoy (see overwatch/rocket league) as if you dont have any spare cash they can still enjoy the game. Its another thing entirely when you cant enjoy the game unless you pay the money for in game purchases. Thats my take on it ... more.

    That said, i don't know what is considered an unacceptable loading time, but i'm pretty sure i didn't see ANY in Comrades, besides the initial one. The combat is chaotic and doesn't encourage elaborated strategies, but it can be fun.
