  • Armello Review – The Gamers Lounge

Posted by on January 11, 2016 under News
Armello was the result of a kickstarter from League of Geeks. The best way to describe the game is as a fantasy board game. Mario Party meets Redwall with some Game of Throne elements mixed in was the first thing that came to my head when playing. The Gamers Lounge got a chance to review this niche game and so far we have had a good time. The game has a lot to offer if gamers are willing to learn... more.
  • Review: Hardware: Rivals (PS4) – The Games Cabin

Posted by on January 11, 2016 under News
Hardware: Rivals isn't the best game in the world, but it's certainly not terrible. There's a good selection of maps to play on, as well as some classic game modes that make up the bulk of multiplayer games. The combat is sketchy at times, but with a bit of practice (and a lot of patience) you'll find yourself racking up the points. Some balancing issues are what really Hardware: Rivals from scori... more.
  • Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: India Review Gaming Respawn

Posted by on January 11, 2016 under News
Assassin’s Creed Chronicles continues with its trip to India. With a great mixture of stealth and puzzle solving platforming to try and stay out of sight makes for an interesting AC game. If you’ve played ACC China, there’s nothing really different here apart from the brighter, beautiful graphics. This is a definite one for the fans or those who like trilogies. ( Assassin's Cree... more.
  • Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: India Review | TSA

Posted by on January 11, 2016 under News
TSA: Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: India is a decent game though I think China was the better outing, mainly due to the story. India’s plot just seems to limp along without a truly satisfying ending, whereas China’s had a lot more emotional investment within, though it was still quite shallow too. Either way, ACC: India manages to keep the stealth gameplay fun, while the open co... more.
  • Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: India review – GamesRadar

Posted by on January 11, 2016 under News
Ashley Reed: Assassin's Creed Chronicles: India, the second game in Ubisoft's 2.5D platforming mini-series, is the closest thing Assassin's Creed has to a pure stealth title. It doesn't abandon quick movement, but the two can work together well here, with kinetic energy bolstering your covert abilities. If the rest of the game played along, this could have been a welcome shift in tone for fans w... more.
  • Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China Review (GameWatcher)

Posted by on January 11, 2016 under News
From GameWatcher: "How do you define an Assassin’s Creed game? Is it the open world? Is it assassinations? Climbing towers? Stealth? Combat? Climax Studios attempts to expand the definition again with Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: India, the second of the Chronicles trilogy. You’ll quickly find this game has everything necessary to call it an Assassin’s Creed game, but... more.
  • Star Wars Battlefront review | GamesTM

Posted by on January 2, 2016 under News
GTM: On the surface, comparing Battlefront to Battlefield is a completely meaningless endeavour. Despite arriving courtesy of the same hugely talented studio, Battlefront: 2015 Edition militantly stays true to its duo of prequels, which is to say that it’s fundamentally rather uncomplicated. Despite the presence of a few borrowed (and simplified) systems, approximating Battlefield’s ... more.

  • Earth Defense Force 4.1: The Shadow of New Despair Review – An Unnecessary Port | GB

Posted by on December 21, 2015 under News
GB: It's been seven years since the last attack on Earth from giant, killer insects. Seven years. It's been seven years. Seven. That's what it sounds like when playing Earth Defense Force 4.1, a nonstop reminder of when we last fought these creepy crawlies. And after playing 4.1 I'm very confident in saying that it hasn't been nearly long enough. Click here to view full article... more.
