  • Arslan: The Warriors of Legend review – ChristCenteredGamer

Posted by on April 10, 2016 under Paws Button, PS3 / PS4, PSP / PSVita, Walkthroughs
Arslan: The Warriors of Legend reenacts the first season of the popular anime, The Heroic Legend of Arslan. If you have any interest in seeing the anime, you may want to hold off on playing this game because it will spoil much of it! While the anime is very good, it does shed a negative light on religion and the Lusitanian faith resembles Christianity in some aspects. ( Arslan: The Warriors of Le... more.

Posted by on April 5, 2016 under Paws Button
A.Franklin at Ourcade Games writes: This is my first and likely only Mad Monday post, as I don’t get really bothered much by things in the gaming world, but there is one thing that has been eating at me. I promise I won’t keep you long, but Ubisoft recently released the open world game The Division and my time with it has been awesome. However, I’ve been reading reviews just for the hell of ... more.

I tried vr last year and it was cool, but I didn't go back to it for awhile. I got it out yesterday and played 4 hours with a break halfway through. The Second session my neck started to tire, I could tell my face was feeling the effects of pressure from the face mask and I generally was getting tired of looking around at the cool stuff.Surprisingly my eyes were not as tired as previous uses but I... more.
  • Xbox Exec Says Xbox Is Not “Actively Planning” Digital Trade-Ins

Posted by on March 22, 2016 under News, X360 / XBox ONE
Just typical Xbox well do it if we have to. Like literally forced to. High digital prices being lowered?! If ever, GWG, Microsoft only do stuff when they are forced into it. 10% back for GTA5 of all games.. Get out. 20-30% is the sweet spot it's not a full refund by any stretch and it's not absolutely peanuts. Nice middle ground and enough to go buy an indie ;) much prefer it when a company is pr... more.

Same here it really is a great game I played on 360 originally and bought again for PS3, but yeah GTA3 I really felt the need to blast through again and yes I'll be doing Vice city soon as well and San Andreas no doubt but yeah Bully is great just think I'd rather wait 2-3 weeks max and get it in one of the various sales for say £6-7 and get manhunt at the same time. I paid £11.99 for GTA3 then ... more.

Driveclub has received quite a few Japanese cars as DLC in the past few months, but it’s still largely dominated by European rides. Yet, Game Director Paul Rustchynsky would like to introduce some rather interesting cars from the archipelago of the rising sun, including the rotary engine-powered Mazdas and the beautiful Lexus LFA, even if he specified that licensing can be a tricky and long... more.
  • Has PlayStation Already Won the VR War?

Posted by on March 22, 2016 under Tech Bones
No the PlayStation VR hasn't. But I do suspect that they have a really good chance of selling more units than both the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. Sony has a much bigger install base of VR ready machines than the other two and that will play a big role when it comes to adoption of VR. Another point is that Sony themselves will also be directly making VR content in the form of not only games, but ... more.
  • Quantum Break’s resolution set-up on Xbox One

Remedy has replied back regarding the 720p output of Quantum Break with the following statement:Quantum Break’s 1080p output is a temporal reconstruction from four previous 720p 4xMSAA frames. This approach gets us high pixel quality in combination with complex shading and effects, allowing us to achieve a cinematic look. However, varying sample counts between passes and temporal upscaling ... more.
