They're not comparable, really. Super Meat Boy is pixel-perfect platforming, the kind where every death is your fault, not the game's. Every single one.
So, frustrating isn't exactly the word I'd use here, at least it wasn't for me. It was pretty thrilling to play SMB years ago, and I think I'm going to double dip on Wii U since my Xbox 360 was stolen about 4 years ago.
Ninja Gaiden is cheap and unfair and bullshit. Super Meat Boy isn't.
