When we received the code for , a comedic first-person adventure game about sentient corn, we were obviously intrigued. How could we not be? The key art features a stalk of corn listening to a boom box, and in an industry that can at times feel bereft of fresh ideas, this left-field offering from Finish Line Games excited us. Not only did it look like an off the wall adventure title, but it was a... more.

I never got to play Red Dead Redemption on PS3 and I'm surprised it never got a PC version. I heard good things about the game but I don't have a PS3 anymore so the only way for me to play it right now is through the PS Now service which I'm not a fan of, especially because you only get stereo sound no 5.1 or 7.1 - and visually I don't like the look of the game via PS Now, had to force my self to... more.

With PlayStation 4 port making waves earlier this week when it was announced and released all within the space of a few hours, now's as good a time as any to roll out this inevitable poll. Originally launching on the PSone at the very end of the console's life, Final Fantasy IX is considered by many to be the best game in the series -- a prime example of a title that was developed by a studio at ... more.

@get2sammyb I mean, yeah! Certainly has its draws in terms of the fast TPS gameplay. I just need to try out the multiplayer to see how it all truly holds up online. @shonenjump86 I played a mode of "Capture the Bra" and ran around the center of the map with the, um, objective with no problem. They definitely don't pose a challenge, but in single-player, man, the three-star difficulty is... more.
  • Hands On: Sonic Forces Offers Both Slick Speed and Colourless Customisation

For fans of the Modern Sonic gameplay that was predominantly featured in , , and , you can rest your fears as it returns in feeling just as slick. Switching between the widescreen 3D and singular 2D, Sonic’s pace thankfully never outruns the screen. This issue occurred for some in the classic series where the hedgehog would run too fast causing obstacles and enemies to become near-impossibl... more.

@get2sammyb The same could be said about games like AC4 and the PS4/XB1 versions when they launched. These games were nothing more than a full HD version of the 720p PS3 era games. The X can EASILY justify that £100 difference in my opinion. Its got a whole PS4 Slim worth more GPU power, 4 GB extra (MUCH faster) RAM, Dolby Atmos and a 4k HDR Bluray player - for just £100 more. In HD t... more.

niko04 1h ago Yes, I am not buying into any shitty micro-transaction BS. And using some guys death to sell shitty micro-transactions it's the epitome of scum baggery. And it's your money, but if you buy into this crap your just encouraging these devs to do it more and in even more obtrusive ways in the future. Gaming is dead when the only challenge is how much you have to pay to beat the game. Ga... more.
