No doubt about that MasterCornholio. Though as stated (and only in my opinion) they need to do much better in 2018 as far as 1P IP is concerned. Spencer himself has admitted that 1P IP needs bolstering.

Titles such as Halo Wars 2 and Super Lucky's Tale just don't cut it. I wouldn't say they were failing, and I apologise if that's how my opinion as been relayed to you, but there's certainly room for a lot of improvement.

It seems MS always has that one saving grace every year that keeps them from complete failure every year. And this is truth. Weather its the slim, X1X backtracking at the reveal of X1 or having decent E3's (Only half deliver on their promises.) The funny thing is early last year MS cancelled half their 2017 and possibly this years games line up with Fable Legends which definitely could released fall of last year. Scalebound which could of released February this year and Phantom Dust Reboot we could of saw fall of this year. Leaving Crackdown, State Of Decay 2, Sea Of Thieves and Ori Will Of The Wisp. Cancellations of those games obvious were't in MS will. but 2017 could of been a much better year for MS.

Hate always having to say "lets wait on E3" but we got no choice....

“I’m not suggesting that 2017 didn’t house some memorable exclusives, such as Halo Wars 2 and Super Lucky’s Tale”

Those were two of the most forgettable exclusives Xbox One had last year. More people will remember Forza 7 and Cuphead.

“Each of these games are open-world co-op experiences. Again that’s not a bad thing in itself, but if these happen to release in close succession, they may well end up hurting one another as far as sales go.”

That’s a ridiculous notion. These games will perform according to how they’re individually received, not because Microsoft released another multiplayer centric first party title.

“The bottom line in all of this is that Microsoft now has the most powerful hardware, and without a doubt the Xbox One X is the best place to play third party games”

Not everyone getting an Xbox One is opting for the premium option. Let’s not try to pretend the base model no longer exists.

Hey PhoenixUp

While I agree with your first point and respect your opinion to your second point. I did specifically point out the Xbox One X as the best place to play third party games, simply because it's true, not to pretend that the base model no longer exists.

Yet none of those, none of them were exclusives fro the Xbox.
