I am not worried in the slightest about Switch in 2018 for a few reasons. First of all, we already know that Kirby, Fire Emblem, Yoshi, Valkeria Chronicles, Octopath Travelers, SMT5, and Wolfenstein 2 all confirmed for next year. Second, we know that Metroid Prime and Pokemon could come as early as next year, but at the very least we know that there is a future for the console. Lastly, and most importantly, almost every game that was released on Switch this year was announced in January or even throughout the year. We had no idea that ARMS, Splatoon 2, Mario Odyssey, Fire Emblem Warriors, Mario+Rabbids, Doom, Xenoblade 2, and nearly every other game that has come to the platform was coming before 2017. Since all of these games were announced this year, I have no doubt that there could easily be more games announced for 2018 in a January direct or even as late as E3. So yeah, as of right now the Nintendo Switch seems to have a fairly solid future.
