Prey is one of my favourite games this year. It did not remind me of Bioshock though, but more System Shock 2, Half-life 2 and the Dishonored games. It has a very intricate level design, where I often asked myself 'can I break the glass here and find a new passage?' or 'can I use my "blob-gun" to go up and reach that door?' ... the answer is often 'yes, yes you can'. It's a game where you actually want to back-track, as you develop new abilities. The game also has one of my favourite storylines of 2017.
Earth Defense Force 4.1. EDF is one of my favourite franchises but I never got around to playing this one as it is mainly a remastered version of EDF 2025, which I have already played. However, I just had to get it anyway. It's small-sized game packed with super-fun.
Gran Turismo Sport. Now that the server seems stable, I've finally been able to get into the campaign. While it is smaller than in previous games, it will easily keep you busy for 30+ hours. It's been real fun trying to win with the lower-level cars as well.
