It’s The Biggest Week For Microsoft’s Xbox Since 2013

Back in 2013, Microsoft stumbled with the launch of the Xbox One with some serious gaffes surrounding connectivity and used games, as well as a general affect that seemed to care more about entertainment options than games themselves. Phil Spencer's Xbox has made impressive strides at reversing that perception through programs like backwards compatibility, but the Xbox One X is the biggest punctuation mark yet in that story. It feels like something of a portentous coincidence that the company just stopped manufacturing the troubled Kinect accessory in late October: that was who we were, it seems to be saying, this is who we are now.
