Teenagers flying through the air using elaborate boost devices! Super creepy giants with a lust for human flesh! It can only be the new game. Attack on Titan 2 looks set to build on what its predecessor did right, with more characters, a revamped structure, and a crazy amount of back-of-the-neck-slashing action. People seem to be sleeping on this one a little, but it has all the makings of a fine anime adaptation.

And before you know it, it's already March. Time flies when you're having fun, and 2018 has been pretty good for PlayStation games so far. This month, that trend's looking to continue with something for just about everyone. From remasters of classics to sprawling Japanese role-playing games, let's go ahead and break down which titles we're most looking forward to.

DJMax Respect (PS4 Exclusive)

Publisher: Sony
Developer: Rocky Studio
Release date: 6th March, 2018

Got rhythm? Because you're gonna need it. Fresh out of South Korea and heading to Europe for the first time on PlayStation, DJMax Respect demands your, er, respect. As with most modern rhythm games, this one can be as challenging as you want it to be, with the hardest difficulties offering up some true finger-breaking, brain-melting action. The release features close to 150 different music tracks, all of them remastered.

Publisher: Capcom
Developer: Capcom
Release date: 13th March, 2018

Dante's back for another three-game romp, this time on PS4. Featuring Devil May Cry, Devil May Cry 2, and Devil May Cry 3, this could turn out to be an enticing package if you missed out on the PS3 collection. As far as we're concerned, Devil May Cry 3 is still one of the greatest action games ever made, and while Devil May Cry 2 is, in a word, sh*te, the original Devil May Cry has an eerie Resident Evil-ness about it that's worth experiencing.

Publisher: EA
Developer: Criterion Games
Release date: 16th March, 2018

The long-rumoured remaster of Criterion’s beloved open world racer is just a couple of weeks away, and we’re very much looking forward to getting behind the wheel once again. Burnout Paradise Remastered features polished visuals, all the major DLC, and an intact soundtrack. With a distinct lack of arcade racing games on PS4, this is perfect timing, and we can’t wait to boost around Paradise City with Avril Lavigne blaring out the speakers.

Publisher: Ubisoft
Developer: Ubisoft
Release date: 20th March, 2018

We couldn't tell you why it's taken so long for Assassin's Creed Rogue to make it to PS4, but if you've been hankering for more stealthy stabbings, then be safe in the knowledge that Rogue is a solid Assassin's Creed game. It puts a spin on the formula by having you play as a Templar, and it's got the cool pirate ship bits from Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag.

Publisher: Koei Tecmo
Developer: Omega Force
Release date: 20th March, 2018

Teenagers flying through the air using elaborate boost devices! Super creepy giants with a lust for human flesh! It can only be the new Attack on Titan game. Attack on Titan 2 looks set to build on what its predecessor did right, with more characters, a revamped structure, and a crazy amount of back-of-the-neck-slashing action. People seem to be sleeping on this one a little, but it has all the makings of a fine anime adaptation.

A Way Out

Publisher: EA
Developer: Hazelight
Release date: 23rd March, 2018

"F*ck the Oscars!" we hear your cry in rabid support of A Way Out director Josef Fares. The guy's incredible speech at The Game Awards last year was probably the best marketing that his title has received, but let's not forget that this is shaping up to be a unique adventure in its own right. A Way Out's focus on co-op means the whole thing is playable with a mate, and an emphasis on story means we could get some memorable characters thrown into the mix.

Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom (PS4 Console Exclusive)

Publisher: Bandai Namco
Developer: Level-5
Release date: 23rd March, 2018

It's just bloody gorgeous to look at, innit? Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom seems to be another lovingly crafted adventure from the folks at Level-5, complete with a brilliantly detailed world and an overhauled action-based battle system. Join wee cat-eared prince Evan on his journey to become king as he bests beasts and gathers allies. The formula's also been expanded with kingdom building and even real-time strategy skirmishes. God knows how many hours this one'll last you.

Far Cry 5

Publisher: Ubisoft
Developer: Ubisoft
Release date: 27th March, 2018

Remember when Ubisoft was building up to Far Cry 5's reveal and it was all creepy American cults out in the middle of nowhere? And ever since it's just been GUNS, GUNS, GUNS, EXPLOSIONS, DOGS, SPEEDBOATS, GUNS? Yeah, the original marketing plan may have gone out the window and this is definitely starting to look like more Far Cry, but we're sure it'll still turn out to be a blast. Here's hoping it measures up to Ubisoft's recent open world triumphs.

MLB The Show 18 (PS4 Exclusive)

Publisher: Sony
Developer: Sony San Diego Studio
Release date: 27th March, 2018

The latest instalment in Sony’s annual sporting smash hit, MLB The Show 18 steps up to bat ahead of the new season of America’s game. With New York Yankees hot shot Aaron Judge taking the cover slot, the jury is still out on how much of an upgrade this edition will actually be. The developer’s promising an expanded Road to the Show mode, while thousands of new gameplay animations and a revamped hitting system promise to make the on-field action more realistic than ever before. It’s certainly sounding like iteration rather than innovation at this stage.

March is looking pretty stacked, but what games are you most looking forward to playing? Vote in our poll, and then feed us your thoughts in the comments section below.
