While Im generally not a fan of enemy scaling... The Witcher 3 almost needs it, or a complete overhaul of the AI and its battle system. I found myself overlevelled for about 80% of the game. Getting there was a bit of a challenge, though once around level 20 or so... Not much could touch you. Also, it was easy enough to find high end armor and weapons, simply by exploring and finding it in hidden stashes... even in White Orchard.

You can always up the difficulty, I guess... but, even then, once you are over a certain level, there isnt much of a challenge. My character is currently at level 37, I finished the game last week and loved every second. Havent started the DLC yet, though once Blood & Wine hits... I will go through both of them. Im currently playing through the Uncharted Collection(for the first time) in lieu of playing through 4.

Too many great games out there, which is never a bad thing.
