Contrary to prior speculation, Nintendo of America has no intention of leaving their headquarters in Redmond, Washington completely deserted; Seattlebased newspaper 4 Color Rebellion) contacted Jim Roberts, deputy planning director for Redmond, who confirmed Nintendo was moving out roughly 80 employees from its sales, marketing and advertising divisions.
Its tough to be disappointed with BustaMove Bash. Its BustaMove in all its bubblepopping glory, its for the Wii, and it works more or less exactly how you would imagine.
As Mary Jane Watson hangs on the shoulder of her hero as he swings over a dull and textureless Manhattan, she summarizes SpiderMan 3 on the Wii quite nicely when she tiredly proclaims, "Stop it youre making me sick. Next Generation is reporting Nintendo UK has announced a deal with CocaCola for a 2 million GBP (roughly $4 million USD) promotional campaign. The deal will include TV, satellite and online advertisements. The promotion will run from May 14 until July 2007, with ten "Ultimate Wii Game Rooms" up for grabs every day. The huge prize pack includes: Wii, Samsung 26" LCD TV, mini fridge and cases of Fanta, Sprite and Dr Pepper.
Gamefly has added Wii and DS listings for The Sims 2: Castaway Stories to its website. Theres no official confirmation of the title yet from EA, who have only announced it for PC so far. As the title suggests, the game will offer a story mode featuring romance and dramatic twists.
Theres a new microsite for Mario Strikers Charged. There is little more than a promo video and some boxart at present, but more is apparently on the way. We got a quick look at the game last month, and thought it seemed pretty fun, particularly in multiplayer.
