  • Poll: Where Do You Stand on Microtransactions?

Posted by on October 17, 2017 under News
I understand that the business is different nowadays and that back then we were paying a lot for the actual cartridge, but to be honest, I don't care about that. The same amount of money comes out of my wallet now as it did 25 years ago. That is just a fact. I read once that adjusted for inflation the ps4 is actually the cheapest console released to date and games are also comparatively cheap. Pl... more.
  • Wait, Open World, Sci-Fi Action RPG ELEX Is Out on PS4 Tomorrow?

Posted by on October 17, 2017 under News
@JoeBlogs Well though my problem's writing related, it's really more a personality thing. "Wait, Open World, Sci-Fi Action RPG ELEX Is Out on PS4 Tomorrow?" isn't a terribly constructed sentence, I know. It's more that it's an example of how more and more of what we're fed online is crouched in an extreme of one kind or another. Everything is 'breathtaking' or 'stunning', or else 'horri... more.
  • Sony to Publish Games on Nintendo Switch Under New Label

And even more recently, PlayStation has published games like and on Steam, while it licensed to Annapurna Interactive in order to enable an iOS release. • UK Sales Charts: The Evil Within 2 Suffers Shocking Launch

    - whilst i agree that chart-track not including digital numbers isn't giving the whole picture, i think there's a lot of people that have unrealistic expectations of (or pining their hopes on) digital sales in the UK. i'd expect physical sales to account for 75%+ of AAA console games, especially at launch. a 2 minute search, and i found TEW2 for £12 cheaper, Shadow of War for £16 chea... more.

launches this week, and it will snatch the PlayStation 4 racing game baton from with little resistance. Evolution Studios’ simcade didn’t enjoy the best start to its short life, being before releasing in a particularly sorry state. But the British developer – – performed a miraculous U-turn to get the title up to scratch, and it represents a pretty strong alternative if yo... more.
  • The Evil Within 2

I gotcha. I just think the devs don't carry that open world philosophy forward throughout the game. After exploring those areas, I had a lot of fun, but had little reasons to return to areas except to unlock a chest or something. Really wanted to see some old areas expand with backtracking. I thought the atmosphere and improved controls were great too, but I actually miss some things like burning... more.

A major month for me as South Park & GT Sport are the last two games I will be buying this year. Kind of happy really, as at the start of the year I was buying a major new release every other week (Jan-March were killer). GameGuidedog Partners Store Update: 17th October 2017 (Europe)... more.

VGChartz's Brandon J Wysocki: "It’s no sprawling epic but, much like the 1999 feature length film of South Park, The Fractured But Whole is ultimately South Park bigger, longer & uncut. If you’re not a fan of the TV series, or The Stick of Truth, there likely isn’t anything here that will convert you. However, for everyone else, I can almost guarantee you will find this... more.
