”There are two separate teams for single-player and multiplayer. They sit in the same room, so they talk to each other a lot,” explains Van Dyke, before going on to discuss the trials and tribulations of working with such an advanced engine. ”The engine is really complicated and to make a level is a serious endeavor. It takes probably three or four months with more than one guy working on it at one time - there’s the level designer and the level artist and these guys need to go through. Then we have the gameplay coders who’ll go in and create code that supports what the guys are trying to pull off. Its gone in a very complex direction.
