If ever there was a license to showcase this newfound obsession with verticality in gaming, Spiderman is definitely it. As the 360/PS3 title is put through its paces, it becomes instantly clear that the familiar webslinging approach of the previous generation has been retained, but the sense of scale drastically expanded. Spiderman can still perform the same wellestablished wallclimbing acrobatics and continues to be able to swing through Manhattan without needing to aim at any particular purchasepoint. It seems that keeping the accessible, freeflowing style the series has become known for is a priority for Treyarch and with several wellreceived and commercially successful Spidey titles in the back catalogue this comes as no surprise.

Strange, the gamestop website has the 360/ps3 versions at the usual $60, the DS version at the usual $30, and the PC version at $30.  Of course, with that pricing plan the PC version literally is half the cost of the console counter parts.  Do we know if it will be the same game though?

It's not usually an issue if you resell your games on eBay.  Console games hold their value much longer than do PC games.  I'll get the $59.99 360 version and sell it within a few weeks and get probably between $45 and $50 for it.  That is, of course, if it doesn't turn out to have some incredible amount of reply value to where I'll want to keep it longer.  And it won't.  But even if that's the case, I'll still get around $40 for it easy.  So it's not a rip off if you look at it that way.
