Capcom’s boasts of improved graphics shine brightly as flames light up the dense flora and plant life and new insectoid Akrid foes swarm into battle. The first gameplay experience to use version 2.0 of Capcom’s much-complimented multiformat MT Framework engine, Lost Planet 2 has plenty of new shaders and effects, largely of which your average numskull correspondent does not understand. But it is an incredible gameplay experience.
