First let's get any misconceptions out of the way as the Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening is not just one more instance of unacceptable DLC following the horrid conclusions we've seen since the BioWare RPG's issue previous releases have seemed to be. The main thing here is that this addition is more than 25 hours of full-scale additional content, broadly robustly created with an entire gameplay experience, that picks up the story where you left off, if you remember. Now with that said you may well have left it on a current setting, a (mostly) current crew of companions, current talents, skills, spells and talents, and the largest part importantly, a re-imagined storyline that's appropriate to a shorter format while still achieving the obligatory extent of the original full story. Kind of like the addon for Half-Life 2 with Episode 1 being shorter but just as much fun!

If you finished the staple storyline for Dragon Age I'd say it's a requirement at this point to check this expansion. It has an alluring appeal to the measures at the end of that gameplay experience, so consider yourself warned that missing it will be upsetting to most. We can all remember the straightforward story that the Archdemon has been defeated, the Blight demised, and at the present all citizens of Ferelden live in opportunistic happiness, singing songs to the mighty Grey Warden [insert your family name here] who saved the world! Not including the stream of events that are about to unfold of course! This addition (no spoiler here really) is by no means that straightforward.
