What we saw of Black Mirror 2 looked awfully promising. It’s obvious that the developers are conscious of Black Mirror’s level of condition they need to live up to, and they’re taking control not to disappoint. Fashioning the gameplay experience in 2.5D seems to have been the right decision to prepare, as current screenshots resemble Black Mirror much more strongly than the first ones in 3D did.

It will be fascinating to mull it over how the story of the first gameplay experience will be integrated into its progression. Both the ad for the current gameplay experience and Willow Creek’s ex- photo store-turned-museum (featuring a waxworks make an exhibition of of the homocides from twelve years earlier) indicate many references to its predecessor, and a poster at the GC stall featuring Darren considering Samuel Gordon in a mirror in addition suggests a link concerning the two games’ stories.
